The heaviest athlet of the world dining in the TRITON Restaurant

The heaviest sportsmen of the planet, the US sumo fighter Emmanuel Yarborough, choosed TRITON Restaurant for his dinner and lunch when staying in Prague. For this VIP guest, the Chef prepared several kilos of sirloin, rostbeef and chicken meat, as well as other foods rich in energy and proteins. Mr. Yarborough´s,  weighing 395 kg, was sitting on a special massive bench, constructed for this unique occasion. Spring came to TRITON!

The first spring day of 2006, TRITON Restaurant celebrated the end of its complete reconstruction. The famous jazz singer Irena Budweiserová, the main guest of the evening, has fullfilled the whole space of the stalactite cave with her beautiful songs. Spring fresh gastronomy and the best wines from the new wine bar were served. New web

The newly renovated restaurant also deservers new web pages. We have created a new design and content and we really do believe that you will like it. Even so, it is unfortunately true the resident genius of the TRITON Restaurant, the superb cuisine and the selected treasures of our wine bar cannot be transferred to our web pages. We look forward to your visit in person.

 

New spring menu

We have prepared a new menu along with the new opening together with the head chef, Michal Novák.  This is made up of dishes according to modern international trends and traditional Czech specialities, always with the use of fresh and high quality raw materials. We have more than one surprise on offer.
Our experienced sommeliers have prepared the highest quality wines from the wide offer of our wine bar to go with individual dishes.

 

New interior

The superb head chef and the original Art Nouveau stalactites remain. Everything else smacks of the new. The TRITON Restaurant has just undergone complete reconstruction of the interior and kitchen fittings.
¨The architect, Veronika Heroldová has managed to provide the interior with a new and fresh form while at the same time respecting the uniqueness and value of the original Art Nouveau decorations. Anyway, the kitchen has been newly fitted out from the wooden spoons to the smoke house. Everything is prepared to provide guests at the TRITON Restaurant with an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
